Latest volunteering data shows no change in rates of volunteering

The latest figures from the government’s Community Life Survey were released on 20 July 2016. They show that 41% of people reported volunteering formally (through a group, club, or organisation) at least once a year, and 27% of people did so at least once a month. These figures have not changed since the previous year and continue to show stability in rates of volunteering. For further commentary on the data and what this means, read Nick Ockenden’s blog.
