Professor Marilyn Taylor
Marilyn is Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Voluntary Action Research, Emeritus Professor at the University of the West of England, Bristol and Visiting Professor at Birkbeck, University of London. She has been involved in research on community policy and practice, neighbourhood renewal and relationships between the state and the voluntary and community sector for many years and has published widely for policy, practice and academic audiences. She is a Trustee of Involve, a member of the Advisory Council of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and serves on the Editorial Boards of Voluntas and the Community Development Journal. She is currently a member of the Learning and Evaluation Advisory Team for the Community Organisers Programme. Her most recent publication is the second edition of Public Policy in the Community (Palgrave 2011).
